As well as playing Bass, M.O.A.B. draws on the Tremendous Stage Presence talents of Actor/Singer/Song-writer/Bassist Ron Tree, who has proved himself for over seven years to be one of Hawkwind's Finest Frontmen Ever!

Ron is a talented actor and this is demonstrated by his stage presence! Ron played bass for Bastard (that's why Hawkwind called him Ron Bastard for a while). After Bastard split up, he joined 2000DS on bass guitar and went on tour in southern England and Europe followed by three years with Liz Gizzard during which time he created a 7ft Robotic Percussion Machine, which exploded in its abdomen. He supported Hawkwind with the machine which he named Disturbance and also worked with two bands, Captain Jesus & The Sunray Dream* (now called Equinox) and Sewer Suckers, before joining Hawkwind in 1995. During his time with Hawkwind he continued to work as a song writer and his compositions where used by Hawkwind.
